Rediscover Some Priceless Freebies in 2025

A new year shopping list of precious things available for FREE to live a joyful, rich life

Reading Time <3 min

Welcome back from the serial festivities over the Christmas and New Year period :)

Ladies and gentlemen of 2025, I wish you happiness and freedom in the new year.

Two of the most elusive things.

May you live a joyful, rich life.

Funnily, the causal interdependence of being happy and having freedom is noteworthy. On the other hand, the concept of richness is usually associated with symbolic possessions, but living a rich life and owning stuff is not always co-dependent.

This leads me to the following thought bubble -

The luxuries of life aren’t found in what you own but in how you live. We run around everywhere while most of the precious things are FREE. How about Embracing what truly matters?

The most precious possession - Time

It is equally distributed to all in 1440 minutes daily. It is also the most wasted and taken for granted.

Your calendar isn’t a badge of honor; it reflects your values. Fill it out carefully in 2025.

Make space for yourself: quiet mornings, slow walks, mindful chewing, reading a paperback, time with loved ones, and sweet nothings.

One non-negotiable at any cost - Wellness

Eat food that nourishes you, not just what’s convenient.

Move your body like you love it; use it or lose it.

Sleep isn’t optional - it’s the best life hack. Invest in learning deep sleep.

The gold dust of life - Relationships

Friends who laugh with you, family who show up, strangers who offer kindness,

These are your people.

Call them. Hug them. Look them in the eye. Don’t ever let them go.

Just don’t.

The cool thing to have - Curiosity

Learn a new skill. Read a weird book. Ask ridiculous questions.

The world is bigger than your comfort zone - step outside it. Say ‘NO’ more often, and make space for new.

Start a side hustle. Fail 7 times. Stand up 8.

Be with the most benevolent teacher - Nature

No admission fee.

Take a walk in the woods. Watch the waves crash.

The best therapist might just be a tree. Sun alone can give you everything.

Pray.

That which keeps the world going - Kindness

Thank all mothers. They teach us the purest & selfless love.

A smile, a kind word, a small act of generosity, a thoughtful call, giving

These are the ripples that change the world.

Pay it forward.

The superpower that unlocks happiness - Gratitude

The coffee in your cup, the roof over your head, the breath in your lungs,

Don’t take them for granted. Ask the ones gasping for it.

An estimated 150.000 people who slept last night didn’t get up this morning.

Good morning, Sunshine!

One thing to never let go - Dreaming

You don’t need permission to imagine a better life, world, or you.

Dreams are the fuel that keeps us going when the road gets rough.

Find meaning, not just money.

A job title won’t keep you warm at night, but a sense of purpose will.

And the ultimate flex - Freedom

Say yes to what lights you up and no to what dims you.

Living on your terms is the richest life there is.

Make freedom your top goal in 2025.

Of time, Of attachments, Of decisions, Of spirit.

The secret sauce to all - Breath

Box, Bellows, and Bees

Will hand you the keys

It is THE secret and not a chore

DM to find out more :)

The new year will be full of surprises - some wonderful, some not.

You can’t control the waves, but you can learn to surf.

Ladies and gentlemen cherish life’s true luxuries.

It’s mostly FREE.

Cheers!

Trivia: The thumbnail image is inspired by the Greek ritual of crushing pomegranates in the new year. In Ancient Greece, smashing a pomegranate on New Year's Eve was a powerful symbol of life and good fortune, a custom that still resonates today. As we prepare for a new year, this age-old ritual reminds us of the beauty of fresh starts and the hope for prosperity.

___Why is it called /SALTT______________

In Roman times, salt was prized as much as gold—it was essential and invaluable and paid as a “salary.” Earning your salt means adding real value, which is crucial. The phrase still resonates today, but perhaps with an even deeper meaning. Earning our salt is not about compensation only—it’s about contribution, fulfillment, and the courage to live with intention.
