Just Let Go, Amigos
The subtle art of letting go that could take a lifetime to master. Why not start now?
(Reading Time < 2 Minutes)
Met a friend after years,
It was not the kind over beers.
Heard about the financial accident he had in a moment’s slip,
With an OTP blip :(
Sadness lingered my day,
But he carried the burden the whole way.
Baggage is always heavy.
Whatever the type of life accident,
There is a hefty levy.
What should be done in such a case,
Remain bitter or reset the base?
Thinking along came a bend,
Ah, another year came to an end.
Time slows; we look back.
Carrying so much.
What knack :)
Grudges.
Regrets.
Old habits.
Broken connections.
The weight is heavy,
The path seems blocked.
Doubt barricaded.
Do I really have the savvy?
But there is a way.
A way to breathe.
A way to move.
A way to sow.
It all begins with letting go.
The wisdom of release.
Letting go is ancient, if you please :)
The Bhagavad Gita whispers, Detach from the fruits of your actions.
Buddha reminds us that everything is impermanent. Offer no reactions.
Release your grasp. It’s OK not to be on top.
As Rumi sings, Be like a tree.
Let the dead leaves drop.
Psychology agrees.
Studies shout Ahoy!
Letting go lowers stress, Clears mind.
Makes space for joy, Takes care of the grind.
But we cling.
To the past.
To fear.
To what we love and what we don’t.
What we will become and what we won’t.
To what we think we are,
Aha EGO :)
The truth?
Edging God Out.
Holding on to hurt.
Clouds judgment.
Steals energy.
Blocks new beginnings.
All this for useless dirt.
Life is short, if you may.
4,000 weeks, they say.
Every moment matters.
It’s your choosing.
But letting go is not losing.
It is trusting.
Going with the flow.
Their :) design will surely show.
We are more than our grudges and pains.
‘Cos faith moves mountains
So what to do, I say -
Restart
Small steps.
Long Breaths.
Sit with the year.
Nothing existed in the past.
No future is created either.
Only this moment. and the next.
Next.
Another one.
Now.
What feels heavy?
What no longer serves?
Release
Make it long.
Burn the list.
Cry, if you insist.
Feel it leave your body.
Gone.
Replace
Nature abhors a vacuum.
Let the emptiness fill.
God does its work.
Just Chill :)
Set an intention.
Feel it’s done.
Focus on gratitude.
That’s the one.
24/7, it’s perfect text.
Welcome what’s next?
A New Year, A New You
January 1st is a door; step through.
Light.
Free.
Ready.
Row.
This year, just let go.
Of pain.
Of fear.
Of what no longer fits.
The Tao Te Ching knows it all -
“When I let go of what I am, I become I might be,”
So find what’s waiting.
Joy.
Growth.
Love.
Freedom.
A fresh start.
Happy New & Blessed Year Ahead.

___Why is it called /SALTT______________
In Roman times, salt was prized as much as gold—it was essential and invaluable and paid as a “salary.” Earning your salt means adding real value, which is crucial. The phrase still resonates today, but perhaps with an even deeper meaning. Earning our salt is not about compensation only—it’s about contribution, fulfillment, and the courage to live with intention.
